Golden Spine Chiropractic Services
-
Chiropractic Adjustments
Dr. Alex utilizes various techniques to adjust the spine. These methods are the Palmer Package which includes Diversified, Gonstead, Toggle Recoil, and Thompson “Drop” Technique.
-
Activator Methods
The Activator Method chiropractic technique uses a spring-loaded, hand-held mechanical instrument called the Activator. This instrument allows chiropractors to provide a quick, low-force impulse at specific points to deliver targeted adjustments based on the Activator Methods Technique the chiropractor performs.
-
Soft Tissue Therapy
Dr. Alex includes rapid release therapy with all appointments. Rapid release uses vibration therapy as a non-invasive treatment to provide relief from muscular aches and trigger point pain.
-
Graston Therapy
Dr. Alex offers Graston Therapy, another soft tissue therapy. The Graston technique uses a tool to release scar tissue and increase blood flow to help heal damaged soft tissue.
-
E-Stim Therapy
Electrical Muscle Stimulation Therapy (AKA E-Stim Therapy) utilizes low-level electrical currents to stimulate muscle contractions, helping to improve muscle strength, tone, and recovery.
-
Therapeutic Ultrasound
Therapeutic Ultrasound (also known as Ultrasound Therapy) uses sound waves to increase blood flow to an affected area of the body to reduce inflammation.
-
Laser Therapy
Laser therapy, or cold laser therapy, is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing and reduce pain and inflammation. The device emits low-intensity light energy, which is applied directly to the affected area of the body. The light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by cells, where it enhances cellular metabolism and promotes tissue repair.
-
Kinesiology tape
Often referred to as K-Tape, is a thin, elastic adhesive tape used in sports medicine and rehabilitation to support muscles and joints, alleviate pain, and improve athletic performance. It is designed to mimic the elasticity and thickness of human skin and can be stretched to varying degrees to provide support without restricting movement.
